Job Description
• Follow up on claims rejections and denials
• Identify billing issues
• Communicate with insurance companies for status on outstanding claims
• Work daily correspondence work files
• Process and follow up on appeals
• Resolve correspondence issues
Job Requirements
- AR follow-up experience
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret medical billing documentation and data
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies, concepts, and ways to work cross functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Skilled in identifying and addressing issues and using critical thinking to find innovative solutions
- Capable of prioritizing workflow and working within deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Must be detail oriented, be able to work independently, and manage multiple projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
