Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, with specific Government construction experience.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project finances.
- In-depth knowledge of federal construction processes, methodologies, and project management.
- Ability to analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Promptly address all contract/government issues on the project, informing Sr. PM and/or Director of Operations.
- Update all project health information for tracking by upper management.
- Work with team to manage change orders effectively, no T&M.
- Update the project budget biweekly at a minimum.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly pay request documents and complete End of Month spreadsheet by the due date.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders utilizing interpersonal understanding, conflict resolution abilities as well as concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in output.
- Have a sense of urgency when tending to field issues, providing strategic solutions to keep projects on track.
- Manage the field teams’ operational engagement by ensuring they are trained, supported, and held to the successful fulfillment of individual performance indicators (TaCS).
- Conduct weekly internal meeting with Gideon team utilizing Procore’s template agenda and minutes.
- Ensure all site supervisors are performing in accordance with their job descriptions. Provide guidance as necessary.
- Coordinate projects start up, pre-con submittals, build and maintain baseline schedule, execute buyout including contract and subcontract distribution, work closely with field team and client to ensure smooth project execution. Update job reports with work progress, costs & billing, scheduling updates timely closeout.
