Job Description

Gritter Francona is seeking an experienced Nuvolo Senior Trainer to support the Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Service Line.

The Nuvolo application is an enterprise asset management (EAM) solution built on the ServiceNow platform, delivering a modern Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). It replaces legacy functionality previously supported by VistA AEMS/MERS and IBM Maximo, enabling improved lifecycle management of clinical assets across Veterans Medical Centers (VAMCs).

The Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security modules enhance clinical asset visibility, work order documentation, preventive maintenance compliance, and operational performance. Improved capabilities reduce downtime of clinical systems and medical devices, strengthening the quality of services provided to clinical staff, Veterans, and their families.

The Senior Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring enterprise-wide adoption, proficiency, and continuous improvement of the Nuvolo platform across lower and Production environments.

The Nuvolo Senior Trainer's duties include but not limited to:

Training Strategy & Program Support

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy supporting Nuvolo Clinical EAM and OT Security O&M services.
  • Align training initiatives with HTM operational workflows and VA enterprise objectives.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and release cycles through structured training plans.
  • Participate in project planning, testing coordination, and issue mitigation during ServiceNow and Nuvolo releases.

Curriculum Development & Instructional Design

  • Design and develop instructor-led and web-based training materials.
  • Create customized subject matter–specific workshops and remedial training modules.
  • Develop and revise:
    • Workbooks and instructional guides
    • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Job aids and quick reference materials
    • Online learning modules and recorded sessions
  • Translate communication and skill requirements into actionable training solutions.

Training Delivery

  • Conduct instructor-led classroom, seminar, and conference-based training.
  • Deliver virtual training via web-based platforms (Internet/Intranet, software applications).
  • Facilitate hands-on exercises within lower environments.
  • Provide train-the-trainer sessions to regional leads and administrators.
  • Deliver training related to:
    • Application enhancements
    • Workflow updates
    • Interface updates
    • Dashboard and report creation
    • Notification and system email updates
    • Group/role updates

Operations & Maintenance Support

  • Support user adoption across Production and lower environments.
  • Assist with unscheduled break/fix training remediation efforts.
  • Provide end-user support reinforcement tied to incident trends.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and scheduled software maintenance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure training reflects system changes.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct training evaluations and effectiveness assessments.
  • Analyze user feedback and incident data to identify training gaps.
  • Maintain training databases and learning management records.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, governance boards, and working groups.
  • Make presentations and provide recommendations for training improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience providing enterprise-level training.
  • Must have experience supporting Nuvolo (any module).
  • Experience with the Veterans Health Administration is preferred.
  • Experience delivering Nuvolo Clinical EAM and/or OT Security module is preferred.
  • An understanding of Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN), Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM)/Biomedical Engineering department operations is preferred.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)

  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
