• Work with the nation’s leading public health experts supporting CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). • Collaborate with a diverse team of epidemiologists, public health analysts, data analysts, and infection preventionists). • Facilitate the process to collect and define client requirements to help define the processes of a training program to meet the needs of a public health surveillance program. • Validate requirements for accuracy, completeness, clarity, testability, and traceability. • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications that reflect stakeholder needs. • Document requirements and specifications, including complex data flows and business rules using appropriate tools. • Manage and prioritize requirements to ensure that scope is consistent with expectations. • Apply best practices to ensure optimal user experience. • Support software verification and validation activities in an agile environment. • Identify, raise, and implement process improvements based on perceived/stated needs of the customers. • Provide impact analysis and requirements gathering for the surveillance system. • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers.
