• Conduct legal risk assessments for product features throughout the feature lifecycle • Review, advise, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including complex inbound and outbound licenses, data processing (GDPR, CCPA), information security, and other technology related agreements • Develop scalable product review processes and legal playbooks • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams on legal, regulatory, and corporate matters, such as licensing, data protection and privacy, and other matters. • Partner closely with security and privacy teams on proactive program building as well as reactive responses • Advise on governance and commercialization of AI features • Contribute to the development of workflows and processes needed to efficiently scale the legal team, including usage of AI tools for productivity • Assist with efforts around privacy-by-design, and security-by-design • Assess IP risk associated with third-party software and embedded technologies • Draft and negotiate complex software license agreements (OEM, white-label, embedded use, distribution models) • Partner with the commercial legal team to ensure alignment between product capabilities and contractual commitments.
