• The Field Service Technician Lead will be expected to travel throughout the USA. • This role must have basic/advance/expert understanding of the technical competencies listed to support and execute Field Service projects. • Field Service projects may include: installations, repair, and maintenance of electrical components/power transformers. • This role will provide on-site project support/execution and planning to Field Service crews. • Must be able to drive company vehicle/equipment. • Receive assignments and instructions from manager – both oral and written. • Read, understand, and follow guidelines set forth Company procedures, and blueprints when performing assigned work. • Lead other Field Service team members. • Holding team accountable to project schedule execution. • Ability to deliver key messages & communicate effectively. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical complex issues. • Compose Field Reports and any other job site, customer specific reports to management/customer in a timely manner. • Manage equipment maintenance on each job site. • Manage job site safety. • Conduct pre-job/post-job walks. • Assist Service Work Planner with following on-site project management: budget, scope of work, schedule, manpower, task prioritization and multi-tasking.
