JOIN THE TEAM COMMITTED TO DRIVING YOUR CAREER FORWARD Job Type: Full time Exempt/Non Exempt: Hourly Job Description: Subrogation Claim Support Assistant II- AAA The Auto Club Group Reports to: Claim Manager as appropriate What you will do: Provide support to the Claims department by completing functions that require an advanced understanding of concepts, processes and the organization and workflow for one or more Claims lines of business and one or more claim systems. Work independently with limited supervision to complete functions that may require analysis, research, calculations, or the synthesis of information from multiple sources. Receive inbound and make outbound customer phone calls to resolve claims needs. Review claim documents for accuracy and determine the next action within the process. Train less senior staff members in departmental process and procedures. May be assigned tasks normally handled by the lower-level staff when necessary. Additional Responsibilities within Subrogation Operations include, but are not limited to: Research and verify insurance on newly referred subrogation claim for claim handlers including both personal and commercial lines of business for both APD and Casualty Manage diary gather proofs and assist with Collection Vendor referrals Process collection recoveries and reports Pay expense invoices Research unidentified checks Issue deductibles when applicable Run searches as instructed by claim handlers Supervisory Responsibilities: None How you will benefit: A competitive hourly salary between $19.00 - $24.00 ACG offers excellent and comprehensive benefits packages, including: Medical, dental and vision benefits 401k Match Paid parental leave and adoption assistance Paid Time Off (PTO), company paid holidays, CEO days, and floating holidays Paid volunteer day annually Tuition assistance program, professional certification reimbursement program and other professional development opportunities AAA Membership Discounts, perks, and rewards and much more! Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify): Preferred Qualifications Effective communication skills both oral and written One or more years of customer service experience Call center or queue calling experience a plus Experience working within an insurance or claims processing environment a plus Knowledge of subrogation claims a plus Adjuster's license in home state preferred, but not required Work Environment This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. Job Requirements

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • OR
  • Three years of experience in processing, customer service or business administration
  • Experience in:
  • Working with P.C. software applications
  • Maintaining accurate files and records
  • Identification, investigation, and resolution of complex problems
  • Processing transactions and posting to appropriate accounts
  • Organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Communicating effectively (oral and written)
  • Using automated processing and computer systems
  • Gathering data and preparing reports
  • Auditing records, products, and computer files
  • Compose routine correspondence including letters and memos
  • Knowledge of:
