Job Description
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development, and/or growth strategy within network/membership organizations or associations, with at least 7 years of professional experience.
- Experience in "high-stakes" consultative sales, specifically in negotiating complex service agreements and managing a high-volume sales pipeline; excellent customer service skills and compelling communications skills.
- Demonstrated strategic planning skills, including leading strategy assessment conversations, using data to frame decision-making, and considering risks and trade-offs when making strategy recommendations.
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to manage departmental budgets, conduct market research, and provide accurate sales forecasting.
- Highly effective cross-functional collaborator who can work seamlessly with Solutions, communications, finance, and programmatic teams to align organizational goals.
- Proficient in using CRM tools like Pipedrive or Salesforce
- Minimum Education: BA or BS in Business, Sales, Management, Marketing, or related field. Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum education.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Business, Sales, Management, Marketing, or related field
