• Assisting the Manager of Payer Policy and Relations with policy and alliance development activities • Developing and implementing policy strategies that support LabCorp and the laboratory industry • Gathering and sharing information relating to policy, billing and reimbursement issues • Working directly with Segment Science and Marketing management teams • Providing education, appeals influence and insight pertaining to payer policy for Government and Commercial payers • Attending Payer meetings with Payor Solutions Account Executives • Regularly monitoring payer policy updates and changes • Liaising between LabCorp Medical Directors and Government and Commercial Payer Medical Directors • Analyzing public policy, legislative and regulatory proposals • Advocating company positions orally and in writing
