Job Description

Lead the coordination with business leaders to develop future business plans, including booking, revenue, and expenses alongside Revenue and Operations leadership Lead in annual strategy and business planning, working with senior management and senior leadership to develop bookings, revenue and expense budgets. Manage and improve various reporting cycles, leading the monthly forecasting process, including full P&L ownership and presentation to the Senior Leadership and the board. Work closely with the VP, Controls on cash management and cash flow forecasting. Support M&A and integration efforts, including due diligence and integrating acquired companies into the Sovos forecasting and reporting framework, process and timelines. Direct the daily activities and the career development of team members.

Job Requirements

  • Masters degree in Accounting or similar field
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, management consulting, transaction services, or investment banking
  • FP&A experience gained within established businesses, ideally within the consumer digital or insurance sector.
  • Experience with insurance, structured finance, or SaaS is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, VBA, or Python is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of planning and business performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast and periodic business reviews.
