• The Systems Staff Engineer will be responsible for the public safety design and implementation of solutions for Motorola’s ASTRO 25 and adjacent technologies for State and Local government agencies. • Design and implementation of the radio network including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul and WAN and CEN networks. • High level of customer and consultant interaction involving customer design reviews, customer witnessed staging and acceptance testing events, coverage acceptance testing, live system upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts. • System buildout, configuration and acceptance testing in both lab staging and field environments. • Radio coverage testing, frequency analysis and interference mitigation. • Prepare system documentation, system fleet map, encryption and radio programming templates. • Complete live system cutovers and upgrades.
