Job Description

• Design and build next‑generation infrastructure on AWS for the Veeva Nitro platform • Lead the migration of the platform and create a new, scalable environment from scratch • Provide deep expertise in cloud architecture, design patterns, and modern programming to build a highly scalable and reliable infrastructure • Implement a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage, deploy, and scale infrastructure • Design and manage end-to-end CI/CD workflows across Development, QA, Stage and production to automate deployments • Ensure platform reliability focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness • Recommend and implement architectural enhancements, security policies, and new methodologies • Own tooling and CI/CD pipeline in a startup-like setting, balancing performance, cost, and reliability

Job Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and building distributed, scalable systems
Extensive experience designing and implementing deployment architectures within the AWS cloud environment
Deep understanding of core AWS services like VPC, EKS, EC2, IAM, S3
Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications using Kubernetes and other container technologies
Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
Expert in GitLab and experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
Solid understanding of monitoring frameworks; experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch is a plus
Location: Must be in the PST or MST time zone

Nice to have: proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Groovy; knowledge of artifact management solutions (Nexus, ECR); familiarity with code validation and linting tools (Sonar)
