Job Description

• Provide software development expertise and guidance for up to 7 software engineers of diverse backgrounds and skills • Support the professional development of direct reports (supportive feedback, goal-setting, regular check-ins, etc) • Work with engineers, Product Managers, and UX leads to formulate roadmaps • Drive essential and timely communication between teams • Ensure teams have the context and resources they need to achieve their goals • Collaborate with engineering leadership to cultivate a work environment where everyone can thrive • Improve engineering experience from local development to production to enable safe deployments with minimal friction

Job Requirements

A track record of success in inclusive management
A strong faculty for software engineering and technical considerations
Adept project-scoping, planning, and management
Motivation to see your teams and individuals on those teams succeed
A personal commitment to fostering psychologically safe environments for your teams
Expected to supervise, coach, and mentor 3+ direct reports
Availability during established, regular business hours (Mon-Fri)
Work with distributed teams across all U.S. time zones
