• Accurate interpretation of technical information (written, verbal, drawings etc.) • Work with Engineering and other departments to ensure a high-quality new product implementation • Keep tools organized and in a ready to use state (maintain sharp tools) • Assist in determining project schedule and ensuring adherence to schedule • Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment • Running tests and completing reports • Assist in determining “best way” to take a concept to production with an eye toward manufacturability • Repairing or replacing faulty equipment • Assist in training of new employees as needed • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures • Training of employees in production of newly created parts • Planning and scheduling repairs • Input and creation of production and R&D tooling (molds and fixtures) • Timely completion of production tasks • Other duties as assigned
