Job Description
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of solutions engineers, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities. Create a high-performing team culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Solution Development: Collaborate with the sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and develop comprehensive technical solutions that align with their needs and objectives.
• Customer Engagement: Act as a technical expert and strategic advisor for key customer accounts, participating in pre-sales activities, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to align solutions with the company's product roadmap and technology capabilities.
• Solution Strategy: Develop and drive the solutions engineering strategy, ensuring that it supports business objectives and maintains a competitive edge in the market.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the solutions engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Resource Planning: Collaborate with the HR team and executive leadership to assess staffing needs, hire and onboard new team members, and allocate resources effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a high level of technical proficiency and provide thought leadership within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (e.g., 8+ years) in solutions engineering or a related technical pre-sales role, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Proven track record of driving successful customer outcomes through technical solutions.
