Job Description

- Identify and prospect potential freight forwarding companies to expand the company's client base. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular outreach. - Negotiate rates with clients and prospects to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms. - Pursue additional freight from current freight forwarding clients. - Collaborate with clients and drayage providers to create efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions. - Source carriers to handle FTL shipments. - Oversee projects. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Business Development, Freight Forwarder, or FTL Operations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
