Job Description
• Driving sales growth across the company’s genomics product portfolio
• Leading the promotion and sales of Watchmaker products at academic, translational, commercial and clinical labs
• Understanding and monitoring the competitive landscape
• Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
• Building a robust sales pipeline with a focus on developing strategic accounts
Job Requirements
- BS required, MS or PhD preferred
- 5+ years genomics industry experience selling into commercial and academic accounts
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with NGS applications with sufficient technical acumen to sell cutting edge molecular biology products
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and earn trust
- Incisive interrogation skills with outstanding attention to detail to uncover specific client pain points and needs around which to position a solution
- Strategic territory management and planning
- Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment
- Flexible in nature to accommodate a fast-growing product portfolio and change
- Strong organizational, task management, and prioritization skills
- Fully competent in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
- Adept at identifying market opportunities in highly technical and evolving applications.
