Job Description

• Maintain, support, and enhance the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) application to ensure optimal system performance. • Diagnose, triage, and resolve issues related to Epic HB functionality, including incident management and root cause analysis. • Partner closely with Revenue Cycle Operations, IS teams, and key stakeholders to deliver enhancements, workflow optimization, and system upgrades. • Participate in HB-related testing activities for upgrades, patches, new features, and quarterly releases — including validation and documentation. • Provide HB-related data analysis to support critical revenue cycle initiatives and operational improvements. • Serve as a subject-matter expert on HB capabilities for cross-functional projects and revenue cycle transformation efforts.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience in healthcare or related field
3+ years of hands-on build or support experience within Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)
Epic HB certification or accreditation required.
Strong understanding of hospital billing workflows, revenue cycle operations, and payer requirements.
Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred: Single Billing Office (SBO) workflows, HB Charge Router configuration, HB Workqueues (Account, Charge Review, Follow-up, etc.), Reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench/SlicerDicer and HB/PB data extraction, Payer/Plan structure, Consecutive Accounts System Actions and General HSD setup/navigation.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to operate independently in a fully remote Epic environment.
