Job Description
• Produce a complex title from inception to live
• Serve as the primary point of contact for game development teams
• Develop and drive full lifecycle project roadmaps, schedules, and quality standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess milestones, reviewing and evaluating game builds
• Synthesize feedback from stakeholders into actionable systems for developers
• Collaborate with operations teams to own partnerships with cross-functional teams
• Maintain an outstanding risk register and identifying risks early
• Seek efficiencies in workstreams
• Inspire and empower development teams
• Serve as an internal title champion/evangelist
• Work cross-functionally to create a healthy team culture
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of portfolio objectives and the ability to align project efforts with strategic goals.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Video Game Production, preferably in both Publishing and Development
- Strong understanding of game development processes, including design, programming, art, and audio
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in presenting to and communicating effectively with stakeholders and partners at all levels
- Creative problem-solving abilities to proactively mitigate obstacles in game development
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals
- Experience in building and maintaining a positive and productive team environment
- Consistently demonstrates great judgment in decision-making
- Able to build and maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships and workstreams
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and the ability to ensure high standards of quality in game production
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, player preferences, and competitive landscape
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Openness to feedback and willingness to iterate on processes and products
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and audiences.
