Job Description

• Lead a team of Analysts supporting coordinated campaigns across the country • Develop a reporting roadmap for DNC’s states and voter registration programs • Communicate national expectations on voter contact universes; hold state Data teams accountable • Lead communication of regular updates from the states analytics team internally and externally • Collaborate with leaders across the DNC Data & Tech Teams

Job Requirements

At least two cycles of experience working on a large scale statewide coordinated campaign or similar
At least one cycle of experience as a Coordinated Data Director
Managed analytics or equivalent data humans, including technical mentorship, professional coaching, and culture building; bonus points if managed a distributed team and are comfortable collaborating and coordinating work happening around the country
Experience working collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
Understanding the role data can play in strategic program planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Deep familiarity with political data like state voter files, election results, or voter contact data; experience with DNC tools such as Votebuilder, Phoenix, Mobilize, and Scale to Win is a bonus
Strong technical skills in data analysis and visualization; expert SQL user
Experienced telling stories with data using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Periscope, or Looker
Experience doing voter outreach or community organizing, either professionally or as a volunteer
Worked in modern cloud data environments (GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, etc.)
Strong understanding or experience with ETL pipelines and data transformation tools like dbt
Code comfortably in Python, R, or another programming language, or be able to quickly learn new languages or tools to drive impact
Experience working with vendors including relationship management, technical validation and budgetary oversight
