Job Description

• Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose • Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community • Makes regular visits to company worksites to interact with employees • Provides referral service and acts as coordinator for specialized assistance • May assist in planning or conducting funerals • Works with companies to serve notifications of death and serious injuries • May provide support for laid-off or terminated employees • Facilitates spiritual enrichment activities, as appropriate/requested • Participates in new employee orientation

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting
  • Skills to effectively listen and interact with clients, employees, and their families
  • Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and to MCHAPs Ministry values
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Skill in analyzing information to define and follow up on problems or objectives
  • Computer proficiency using Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or other equivalent software
  • Must have active state driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance
