Job Description

• Achieve company growth targets for new and renewal business • Establish, expand, and deepen relationships with independent insurance agencies and existing clients • Prospect and initiate outbound communication with new and existing agency partners via phone and email • Utilize a consultative sales approach and strategic marketing plan to evaluate agency and client needs • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including pipeline development and tracking of large accounts • Collaborate closely with underwriting and internal teams to ensure submissions are written effectively • Provide superior customer service communication • Perform accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities • Meet performance expectations as outlined by KPIs and contribute to ongoing sales strategy execution

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, phone calls, emails, etc.
  • Must be comfortable with negotiating and leveraging a consultative sales approach
  • Initiative-taking with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Passionate, energetic, self-motivated who thrives and can achieve sales goals
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the insurance or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (HubSpot) and policy management platforms (Nexsure)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance targets.
  • At least 1 year of business experience, either in sales or professional services
  • At least 2 years of sales experience focused on generating outbound calls
