- Experience as an engineering manager in the games industry
- Deep understanding of reliability, latency, safety, and user experience
- Experience building or operating consumer-facing products
- Experience with backend and distributed systems (real-time systems, messaging, event-driven architectures)
- Strong sense of ownership
- Ability to identify problems and drive clarity
- Comfortable in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
