Job Description

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all inquiries, concerns, and escalations. • Comprehend clients’ business objectives, challenges, and market trends to provide strategic counsel and solutions that align with their goals. • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to evaluate their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover opportunities for growth. • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded. • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, working in close collaboration with the Solution Consulting and Product teams to develop account expansion strategies, particularly migration to our cloud solutions. • Monitor and analyze client performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement across marketing, sales support and product teams. • Remain current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and market conditions to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for our clients. • Track and report on key account metrics and milestones that push the sales process forward and provide a positive customer experience, such as activity, revenue growth, customer retention, and client satisfaction, to senior management. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth pilot evaluation, project implementation and successful delivery of services. • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships with existing clients and generate new business leads. • Manage accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an account manager selling SAAS products to the US public accounting industry or 3+ years’ experience in assurance services, either as a former auditor or working in a national office/innovation role at a large accounting firm.
  • Ability to query various sources such as Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Nav to identify opportunities
  • Self-discipline, GSD mentality, and a strong desire to succeed
  • Record of consistent achievement of goals
  • A foundational understanding of technology sales, forecasting, and lead development processes
  • A foundational understanding of accounting and financial processes and technologies
  • Experience or understanding of sales, campaign, and marketing automation solutions
  • Prior experience in inside sales, account management, client success, or client services
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of daily tasks and leads
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent discovery, listening and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience mapping customer requirements, needs and goals to solution capabilities, benefits and outcomes
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business management, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Prior work in the audit and accounting technology industry is a plus
