Job Description
• own the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise storage, backup, and recovery platforms
• serve as the technical authority for architecture decisions
• lead cross-functional delivery and mentor engineers and partners
• ensures data protection posture meets business RTO/RPO objectives and compliance requirements
• lead discovery workshops, produce architecture proposals, and translate business outcomes into technical designs
Job Requirements
- 8+ years in enterprise storage/backup with deep hands-on mastery of NetApp ONTAP, SnapCenter, SnapMirror (sync/async), and SnapMirror Active Sync.
- 5+ years administering Commvault at scale, including Metallic 365, Air Gap Protect, Clean Room Recovery, VMware and file-server backups.
- Strong VMware vSphere expertise (VADP, proxies, CBT, datastore integration with NetApp).
- Solid Azure experience (IaaS, storage tiers/immutability, network fundamentals, identity integration).
- Proven leadership delivering complex programs, writing SOPs/Standard Work, and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with automation (PowerShell, REST APIs; Python/Ansible a plus), and infrastructure-as-code patterns for repeatability.
