This is a temporary part-time position | 12 weeks 

Remote in Virginia

Essential Functions & Responsibilities 

  • Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment resources, social media, and other sources. 

  • Assess and screen applicants based on their knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions. 

  • Conduct phone interviews and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers. 

  • Submit and monitor pre-employment background and drug screening results. 

  • Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity. 

  • Maintain assigned job requisitions and records, and write offer letters in ATS (Workday) 

  • Create and provide weekly activity reports 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

  • Proven success in sourcing and recruiting  

  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel 

  • Ability to follow instructions with little supervision 

  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor in all aspects of role 

  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills and ability to resolve problems quickly in their entirety 

  • Experience with recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems  

  • A working knowledge of employment law and legislation. 

  • Highly organized and the ability to leverage technology to manage work and work processes. 

Job Requirements 

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or business is preferred.  

  • 3+ years of sourcing and recruiting experience 

  • Previous healthcare recruitment is preferred  

  • Experience recruiting in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – Workday is strongly preferred

  • Remote, in Virginia 

  • OrthoVirginia participates in eVerify 

  • Offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion of a background, drug, and TB screen. 

  • This opportunity is temporary and part-time 

  • Up to 12 weeks in duration unless otherwise agreed upon 

  • Up to 25 hours per week unless otherwise agreed upon
