Join Our Team as a Credit Analyst at Starion Bank! Are you an analytical, detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial analysis and sound credit decision-making? If so, we want you to join our team at Starion Bank!

Position: Credit Analyst

Location: This position is available at any of our branches in North Dakota and Wisconsin. This position may be eligible for remote work where the physical location is within 200 miles of one of our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including preparation of credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads.
  • Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness.
  • Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs.
  • Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration.
  • Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

  • One to three years of similar or related experience in credit analysis, lending support or financial analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database or financial software experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and present findings.
