Job Description
• Drive growth and oversee performance of seed treatment sales
• Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic partners across agricultural seed manufacturers, distributors, and retailers
• Manage product lines, pricing/programs, promotions for the Seed Technology Platform
• Identify new business opportunities and promote seed treatment products
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues
• Provide regular reports and feedback on account activity, including sales forecasts
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of sales and/or management experience in the agricultural industry, primarily focusing on seed and/or seed treatment products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with excellent forecasting and pipeline management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business administration, marketing, or related (preferred).
- Master’s in business administration (MBA) (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of seed treatment products, applications, and regulations.
