As a Technical/Senior Technical Services Manager, Poultry, you’ll be the critical link between cutting-edge animal nutrition solutions and the commercial poultry industry. This role combines technical expertise with strategic influence, driving product adoption, shaping marketing strategies, and building trusted partnerships with customers. Your key responsibilities
- Define product positioning and marketing strategies to drive sales of innovative poultry products and services.
- Provide technical support and solutions for customers, including field evaluations and issue resolution.
- Act as the company’s technical ambassador through presentations, publications, and participation in industry events.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute customer action plans and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Deliver training programs for the sales force on product positioning, technical literature, and industry practices.
- Capture customer insights to inform product innovation and relay strategic information to internal teams.

You bring
- DVM or PhD in Animal Science, Nutrition, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of technical/scientific experience in poultry or animal production industries.
- Proven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into practical, commercial applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences, from producers to academics.
- Experience collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and customer success.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and reside in Central or Eastern Time Zone
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $127,000-$160,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
