Role Description
The Product Analyst for our Claims Admin product is responsible for supporting the Product Manager in both product analysis as well as backlog execution. The Product Analyst is aligned with the Product Manager in execution of the product vision and roadmap and is accountable for translating the vision and roadmap into defined User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. The Product Analyst acts as a liaison between business stakeholders/various SME’s and the Product Management team to support the success of the scrum team development of new or enhanced functionality and features.
Starting base pay for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities
- Supports the Product Manager in executing and delivering on product roadmap commitments.
- Elicits complete business and functional requirements from various stakeholders/SMEs.
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements, including product features, integrations and solution templates.
- Documents requirements in the form of User Stories to create a shared understanding with Engineering teams.
- Develops, refines and documents other Product artifacts (Ex: Visual collaboration documents, Lucid Chart work flows, etc.)
- Facilitates requirements discussions using various elicitation methods.
- Assists with system design in partnership with Engineering, Design and Architecture teams ensuring the design meets the business needs and user experience.
- In conjunction with the Product Manager, ensures delivered User Stories meet the Epic’s definition of done.
- Performs functional testing to ensure delivery of quality software.
- Creates, updates and maintains Product and Release documentation (Release Notes/Videos, System Guides, etc.)
- Ensures backlog health meets the demands of the team as set/determined by Product Leadership.
- Acts as the subject matter expert for assigned system functional area representing needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures all defined product, development and service processes are followed and defined OLAs are met.
- Proactively adopts new tools that are introduced and collaborates with other teams to identify areas of improvement.
- Participates in Agile Ceremonies as directed by Product Manager.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science or engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in product analysis or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a high attention to detail.
- Strong relationship building skills, including an ability to influence stakeholders and scrum team members.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization.
- Prior experience as a product analyst on a P&C claims admin system.
