Role Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Execution, the TLL function will be responsible for building relationships with speakers and regional thought leaders as well as executing marketing strategies for the launch of CARDAMYST in the US market. The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) role is a field-based position within the US commercial marketing organization that will focus on commercials key option leader (KOL) relationship engagement, promotional speaker training and supporting the strategic execution of commercial insight generation to inform company direction. The position will have a strong dotted line to the VP of Marketing.
The TLL function will be primarily focused on the launch of CARDAMYST for the PSVT indication and will be bound by promotional guidelines using PRC approved promotional materials. The successful candidate will ideally work remotely, but frequently travel to meet with HCPs, attend national and regional medical conferences and interface with key Milestone stakeholders in the home office in Charlotte as needed.
Responsibilities

Speakers Bureau Management & Speaker Engagement
- Identification and recruitment of KOLs to deliver high-quality speaker programs on disease state and product, when appropriate
- Managing relationships of contracted commercial speakers and consultants
- Training speakers using approved speaker materials (annual speaker training and, when needed, field-based training)
- Execution of speaker programs in accordance with compliance policies
- Assessment of speaker performance at live and virtual programs

Medical Conferences
- Contribute to the development of national and regional commercial conference strategy and associated commercial tactics to amplify HCP awareness
- Execution of peer-to-peer promotional efforts at medical conferences (e.g., product theaters)

Marketing Insights & Strategy
- Establish Milestone as a credible and trusted partner amongst speakers and regional thought leaders
- Engage with assigned KOLs and solicit feedback, as necessary
- Support disease state or on-label product conversations focused on key topics
- Execute KOL engagement activities in the field and at key congresses

Educational Programming Support
- Provides input and support in developing account plans for Sales
- Support sales team with Regional Programming eg: PCNA Regional Meetings
- Provides field-based speaker program training for Sales on how to efficiently implement programs
- Support the execution of approved consulting opportunities
- Assist in the identification of Healthcare Professional (HCP) commercial consultants
- Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards, where appropriate
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing/sales leadership
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cardiology Preferred
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Experience with speaker’s bureau required, including building content and training speakers
- Proven ability to manage large geographical territory, ability for extensive business travel, at least 70%
- Demonstrated ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and effectively meet their needs
- Ability to inform strategies, develop tactics, and execute against strategic plans
- Strong business acumen - understands market dynamics, business drivers, corporate goals, and impact on strategy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities
- Self-driven with strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to leverage appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans
- Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Embody a can-do entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to both lead and support key company initiatives
- Conduct all aspects of business in compliance with Milestone values, policies, SOPs, and the laws, regulations, and codes that apply to our business performance.
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
