Role Description
The Outbound Specialist is responsible for driving the top of the sales funnel by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new physician groups, clinics (e.g., Cardiology, Primary Care, Neurology, Functional), and practices. This outbound role requires a persistent, professional, and articulate individual who is comfortable engaging decision-makers in the healthcare and corporate sectors to schedule qualified discovery calls and handoffs to Account Executive.
- Execute high-volume outbound activities, including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and social selling to target sleep specialists, referring physicians, and relevant B2B stakeholders.
- Help research and identify target accounts within specified territories and verticals that align with the company's ideal client profile (ICP).
- Assist in developing and articulating a compelling value proposition tailored to the specific needs and challenges of physician practices and corporate clients.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure a high quality of handoffs.
- Successfully book and confirm introductory meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Maintain meticulous records of all prospecting activities, account information, and lead status updates within the CRM system (e.g., Zoho).
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Product team to optimize email sequences, call scripts, and content for maximum engagement.
- Provide continuous feedback to the Sales leadership team on the effectiveness of outreach strategies and market reception.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of proven success in a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or related outbound sales role.
- Demonstrated comfort and professionalism in high-volume cold calling and prospecting to senior-level decision-makers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex health or technology concepts clearly and concisely.
- High level of proficiency with CRM software and sales engagement tools.
- Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working independently to meet and exceed monthly quotas.
- Previous sales experience within the healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, or B2B SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with the sleep medicine ecosystem, including common terminology and referral pathways.
Benefits
- Compensation Range: $50,000 - 60,000/yr plus commission. Note that final compensation is subject to the candidate’s specific qualifications and location, as well as the needs of the company.
- The Company currently provides medical, vision, and dental insurance with 100% of the employee medical, vision, and dental premiums covered by the Company.
- Option to participate in both a medical FSA and dependent care FSA.
- 401(k) plan, with fully matching contributions up to 3% of salary and 50% matching from 3% to 5% of salary.
- Eligible for Paid Time Off in accordance with the company’s policies.
- Seattle-based employees will receive commuter benefits.
