The Lead CDP Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Marketing professionals to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will focus on delivering secure, governed, and efficient data pipelines while optimizing client data platforms for activation and analytics. This position balances strategic planning, hands-on technical execution, and client-facing consulting. - Serve as a subject matter expert in real-time Customer Data Platforms, guiding architecture, implementation, and data strategy.
- Assess clients’ current marketing technology and data infrastructure, identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Architect scalable, secure, and governed RTCDP implementations tailored to client needs.
- Translate business objectives into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Lead technical delivery efforts, providing guidance and mentorship to Data Engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Promote best practices in data governance, privacy, and security throughout the information lifecycle.
- Support clients with integration, activation, and adoption of CDP features to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and building data pipelines and scalable architectures.
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or consulting role, ideally within an agency or professional services environment.
- Hands-on experience configuring Adobe Experience Platform RTCDP, including schemas, identity resolution, data ingestion, and destination connections.
- Experience with Adobe Tags (Launch), AEP WebSDK, APIs, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of modern data infrastructures, including data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) and analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Knowledge of marketing automation, Adobe Target, or related customer engagement technologies is a plus.
- Expertise in data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
