We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled AI Architect to design and guide the implementation of advanced AI solutions for our clients. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, solution architecture, and client advisory skills to ensure that AI-driven solutions are scalable, responsible, and deliver measurable business value. 

As an AI Architect, you will be at the intersection of strategy, data, and technology - shaping AI architectures, guiding engineering teams, and advising executives on how to best leverage AI. You will also play a key role in growing Bounteous’ data & AI practice, bringing thought leadership and hands-on technical depth to every engagement. 

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI architectures, including data pipelines, model development, deployment, monitoring, and integration into enterprise systems 
• Leverage modern AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain) and platforms (Databricks, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI) 
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, reliability, and responsible AI 
• Define standards, reusable components, and accelerators to enable faster AI adoption 
• Partner with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions 
• Provide technical leadership in workshops, assessments, and architecture design sessions 
• Clearly communicate complex AI concepts to various audiences  
• Evangelize responsible AI practices, including governance, bias mitigation, and model transparency 
• Guide and mentor delivery teams (data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers) in building and deploying AI solutions 
• Oversee solution implementation to ensure alignment with architectural principles and business objectives 
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide hands-on problem-solving as needed 
• Collaborate with strategy, data engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions 
• Contribute to the growth of Bounteous’s data & AI practice by developing offerings, playbooks, and frameworks 
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI/ML (generative AI, LLMs, computer vision, MLOps) and apply them to client use cases 
• Represent Bounteous in industry forums, partner ecosystems, and thought leadership initiatives 

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and/or advanced analytics, 3+ in solution architecture or technical leadership roles 
• Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks and tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, MLflow) 
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native AI/ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks) 
• Hands-on experience with data architecture, pipelines, and integration (SQL, Python, Spark, APIs) 
• Proven ability to design and implement production-grade AI/ML solutions at enterprise scale 
• Understanding of responsible AI practices: governance, fairness, security, and compliance 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; the ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes to a variety of audiences 
• AI/ML certifications from major cloud providers and/or Databricks preferred 
• Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks  
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
