BJC is looking for a Clinical Analytics Analyst! This position would entail pulling, analyzing, and presenting data. We are looking for someone with strong Data analysis skills that can work well independently as well as within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for participating in analytics projects with a particular emphasis on support related to nursing workforce, service lines, safety and quality outcomes, and clinical operations. Identifies and uses data to support clinical decision-making and discussions. Works with senior team members to provide data and analytics that support key clinical projects and initiatives. Participates in development of standard reports and dashboards. Serves as at-the-elbow support for clinical teams in using these products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of internal databases and sources for quality, clinical, and operational data, as well as how they support key company KPIs and basic business operations. Independently gathers project requirements and determines scope for ad hoc and small projects.
  • Discovers, extracts, cleans, and prepares data to support analyses with other team members. Uses critical thinking to validate results. Demonstrates proficiency in relevant tools and languages such as Toad, Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Epic.
  • Works with senior team members to interpret and summarize data and analyses into reports, abstracts, scientific papers, and presentations
  • Manages ad hoc and small analytic projects and structures work to meet all commitments.
  • Understands basic statistical principles and outcome evaluation methods and processes.
