Job Description
Role Description
As Lead of Sales for Higher Education, you’ll partner with colleges and universities to address academic integrity and AI literacy. You’ll engage Deans, Provosts, department leadership, teaching/learning centers, and instructional designers to show how Rumi improves the writing and research experience for faculty and students.
- Build and close a Higher Ed pipeline across mid-market and enterprise institutions
- Run consultative discovery, demos, and pilot programs tied to clear success metrics
- Navigate complex stakeholder groups (academic leadership, IT/security, faculty champions)
- Create compelling institutional narratives: integrity + learning + responsible AI adoption
- Collaborate closely with product to shape features, integrations, and onboarding
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Higher Ed enterprise sales (multi-stakeholder, longer cycles)
- Comfort selling to academic leadership with a pedagogical, faculty-aware approach
- Strong written and verbal communication; you can lead a room and win trust
- Self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments
Requirements
- Experience with edtech platforms, LMS ecosystems, or academic integrity tooling
