• Overseeing all aspects of the Corporate Model • Accurate and timely execution of job functions are high priorities for this position as key management decisions and external reporting are based on the results of actuarial models • Disciplined execution of model governance protocols is essential to ensure timeliness and accuracy of actuarial model output • Organizing and directing prioritization for integrating model changes • Ensuring proper controls are followed and documented for the Production region • Maintain clear model documentation covering things such as methodologies and assumptions sets supporting each model release • Delegating and overseeing model change development work to staff as needed • Serving as a modeling expert for other actuarial teams on modeling best practices and assisting with training new staff • Driving for process improvements and efficiencies.
