Job Requirements
- 0–2 years of actuarial experience through school, internships, or early career
- Progress toward ASA or FSA designation
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a passion for learning
- Commitment to Athena’s mission and values
- Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and explore new ideas.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with healthcare, or other public health programs (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with programming tools like SAS, SQL, or MacroVB (nice-to-have)
- Experience with Federal Health Agencies (e.g., HHS, CMS, AHRQ, etc.) (nice-to-have)
