Job Requirements
- A university degree in an engineering discipline is required unless the candidate has extensive previous work experience in a comparable role.
- A degree in chemical or environmental engineering is preferred, while a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering is also suitable.
- 6+ years of experience supporting sanitary crossflow membrane systems in an applications or process engineering role is required.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following fields: Design and operation of a dairy processing facility, Design and operation of industrial water treatment with spiral UF membranes, Design and operation of food process membrane systems (sanitary RO/NF/UF).
- Broad and detailed working knowledge of non-membrane process technologies, such as particulate filtration, evaporation/drying, etc.
- High level understanding of process flows in a dairy processing plant.
- Expertise in fluid dynamic principles, especially with membrane processes.
- Knowledge of spiral element autopsy processes is an added benefit.
- Familiarity with current product lines for RO/NF/UF membranes common in the sanitary market.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Comfort with public speaking (hosting training, webinars, etc) is required.
