• Ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and statement of works. • Interpreting these requirements to ensure supply base both understands and complies with these quality requirements. • Interpret quality requirements (Q-Notes) and make decisions on Q-Note application to procured production parts. • Perform on-site Source Surveillance and Corrective Action reviews. • Drive continuous product / process improvements of our supply base by identifying supplier risk & systemic performance issues and driving solutions through various tools/methodologies including: Root Cause Corrective Actions, Statistical/analytical improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies. • Facilitate closed loop process controls and continuous improvement methods to improve product/process quality. • Perform Supplier factory process walks and factory risk assessments. • Perform reviews of supplier manufacturing instructions and processes to mitigate escape risk. • Collaborate with Supplier Requirements and Services on Supplier change requests, and Supplier Statements of Work. • Contribute in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supplier quality performance. • Communicate effectively to stakeholders through business reviews and status meetings. • Ability to travel as required by program needs. Anticipate travel (Up to 50%) to support supplier assessments, audits, reviews.
