Job Description

• Own the success of assigned product domains within the CharacterStrong platform. • Collaborate within the iron triangle (Product, UX, Engineering) to create solutions and deliver outcomes. • Translate roadmap priorities into clear product initiatives and execution plans. • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide development teams. • Maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with customer value and delivery capacity. • Conduct continuous discovery in partnership with UX and User Research. • Engage educators, district leaders, and internal stakeholders to uncover needs and pain points. • Lead initiatives from concept through launch and iteration. • Partner with Engineering, UX, and Project Management to ensure clarity, alignment, and execution. • Leverage AI tools, in partnership with Product Leadership, to improve product development workflows.

Job Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of software product management experience, preferably within EdTech or SaaS platforms.
  • Experience owning product initiatives, end-to-end, in agile environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights and data into prioritized, successful product features.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, UX, and business teams.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, backlog management, ticket triage, and roadmap alignment.
  • Experience leading multiple squads, balancing new initiatives with ongoing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools across key stages of the SDLC.
  • Ability to analyze user feedback and data, identify patterns, and translate insights into prioritized, impactful product improvements.
  • Strong empathy for K-12 users and demonstrated skill in active listening during interviews to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Operates effectively in iterative environments, balancing long-term vision with evolving user and business needs.
