Role Description

Nutrafol is looking for a Senior Customer Analyst - Marketing Analytics to join our Retention & Loyalty organization. In this role, you will own customer reporting, analysis, and insight generation across the full customer lifecycle — from acquisition through subscription, retention, and churn. You’ll partner closely with Retention Marketing, Loyalty, Product, and Data teams to turn complex customer data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making.

You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with large datasets in Snowflake (or similar environments). You know how to translate data into stories, dashboards, and recommendations that influence strategy. You enjoy digging into customer behavior, identifying patterns, and answering ambiguous business questions with structured analysis. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and take pride in data accuracy, consistency, and clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer reporting and analysis across key lifecycle metrics including acquisition, retention, churn, engagement, and lifetime value
  • Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries in Snowflake to support recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and experimentation
  • Build and maintain standardized customer datasets, metrics, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency across teams
  • Partner with Retention, Lifecycle, Loyalty teams to define analytical requirements and answer strategic business questions
  • Analyze customer behavior trends, cohort performance, and subscription dynamics to surface insights and growth opportunities
  • Support experimentation and testing by defining success metrics, building measurement frameworks, and analyzing results
  • Create clear, executive-ready dashboards, summaries, and readouts that translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality through validation, documentation, and ongoing QA of reports and queries
  • Contribute to best practices for customer analytics, reporting standards, and metric definitions

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in data analytics, customer analytics, or business intelligence within an eCommerce company
  • Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying large datasets
  • Strong experience analyzing customer, subscription, or lifecycle data
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with metrics such as retention, churn, LTV, cohort analysis, and engagement
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of data accuracy and reporting quality
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in subscription, DTC, or healthcare/wellness businesses
  • Experience supporting lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, or CRM initiatives
  • Familiarity with CDPs, marketing platforms, or event-based data models
  • Experience building dashboards in tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or contributing to analytics best practices

Salary Range

$95,000 — $105,000 USD

Benefits
