Role Description
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Contract Review / Legal Operations Specialist to review, prepare, and coordinate commercial contracts and waiver documentation for the US market. This fully remote role sits at the intersection of legal analysis, operations, and AI-driven workflows, offering exposure to real business decisions and contract risk management. You will manage a high volume of document reviews and iterative revisions, requiring exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The role also includes supporting broader legal and compliance matters across the company.
Key Responsibilities

Contract Review & Preparation
- Review B2B commercial contracts received from clients.
- Identify risk clauses, inconsistencies, ambiguous wording, and errors in commercial contracts.
- Prepare structured comments and suggested revisions.
- Support multiple negotiation and revision cycles.
- Ensure documents are fully prepared before final executive review.

Waiver Document Analysis
- Review conditional and unconditional waivers.
- Verify project data accuracy, financial figures, and the legal logic of release provisions.
- Compare waiver documents against project information.
- Flag risks and recommend approval or required corrections.

Legal Operations & Workflow Coordination
- Manage document review workflows in ClickUp or similar systems.
- Track review stages, versions and status updates.
- Ensure analysis reflects full project context, including state nuances, project type, value, scope, and delivery/installation details.

AI-Assisted Contract Analysis
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for issue spotting, redlining, document comparison, and summaries.
- Validate AI outputs and refine analysis manually.
- Contribute to improving prompt templates and AI workflows.

Legal Coordination Support
- Prepare structured materials for external legal counsel.
- Support internal teams on dispute/mediation cases, landlord matters, and trademark or compliance issues.
- Escalate complex legal risks appropriately.

Cross-Functional Communication
- Communicate contract comments and required changes to sales managers.
- Support negotiation cycles with clients through internal coordination.
- Ensure final documents are accurate and aligned with company risk standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in contract review, legal support/paralegal work, contract administration, legal operations, or document compliance.
- Fluent English and Russian level (C1 minimum — required).
- Strong analytical and structured thinking.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing B2B contracts and commercial documentation.
- Practical experience using AI tools for document analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, including tracked changes, commenting, and PDF review/version control.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, high-volume operational environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Business Administration, Contract Management or Paralegal Studies (preferred).
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other project-based industries (preferred).
- Experience supporting external lawyers (preferred).
- Understanding of US commercial contract logic (preferred).
- Familiarity with state-specific contract nuances (preferred).
- Experience in remote international teams (preferred).
- Interest in legal tech and AI-driven workflows (preferred).
