The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Data Processing Coordinator based out of our National Center office! This position can be home-based.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 3/31/2029, with the possibility of extension.
The Data Processing Coordinator will play a key part in maintaining accurate data and real-time reporting to support critical business operations. As a key contributor to the QORA Business Operations Team, you’ll help streamline processes, support strategic decision making, and enhance reporting accuracy. Responsibilities
The Data Processing Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and operational support for the Quality, Outcomes Research & Analytics (QORA) team. This role plays a key part in supporting data-driven reporting and analytics by managing data, validating reports, and ensuring accuracy and integrity department-wide. The coordinator will support the creation of reports and assist in delivering real-time insights to key stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of analyses to aid decision-making and drive operation improvements.
Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining information to meet data compliance requirements, ensuring accurate entry into CRM databases, and supporting other internal reporting needs. The coordinator will ensure that data and documentation are accurate and meet organizational expectations, conducting data audits as needed. They will also maintain structured workflows for data processing, oversee timely updates to key business processes, and manage routine data archival in SharePoint and the Resource Repository. Providing excellent customer service, the Data Processing Coordinator will respond to requests from coworkers and collaborators, ensuring a high level of support and efficiency in data-related processes.

Essential Job Duties
- Coordinate and monitor project timelines while effectively communicating project needs and related information as required.
- Communicate with collaborators to organize and manage assigned projects.
- Assists with operational efforts which may include validating and auditing data, distribution of reports or communication with internal collaborators.
- Use vendor and/or Association systems efficiently and competently to complete duties/projects.
- Evaluates and maintains information and accurate data for compliance requirements or internal reporting needs. Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure documentation is accurate and meets expectations.
- Provides coworkers, volunteers, and vendors with excellent customer service responding to requests in a timely manner and adhering to deadlines as appropriate.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in project coordination, data management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements), conditional formatting, and data-cleaning functions such as removing duplicates.
- Experience in report preparation, proofreading, and data validation with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise and professional reports and presentations in English.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with colleagues and collaborators across various internal groups.
- Ability to travel up to 10% local and overnight stay
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college or BA in Business, Marketing, Information Systems or related area.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) for managing customer data and tracking business activity.
- Experience with data automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Smartsheet automation)
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.)
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $50,000 to $55,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
