Role Description

This is not a job…this is a career opportunity. The Industrial Hose & Rubber industry is unlike many other career opportunities on the market. Successful industry insiders often stay for an entire career, and the candidate that fills this role will be surrounded by team members and customers with decades of experience.

This is a role for someone looking to build long-term relationships and a long-lasting reputation within the industry. Within this role, you will directly manage a customer base of partner distributors & OEM partners. You will be expected to build relationships high, deep, and wide within your customer base, all the while looking for and managing business opportunities & sales pipeline. Ultimately, your role is to continue expanding Thermoid’s market share & operational profit within the Southeast.

This is a remote role; however, we prefer the ideal candidate to reside in the SE Territory in one of the following cities: Atlanta, Charlotte, Birmingham, Nashville, or Columbia, SC. All applicants should reside near a major airport.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years in an industrial sales, technical sales or product management role
  • Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated decision making and strategic account management
  • Advanced skill with all MS Office products
  • Analytical - Must be able to analyze customer business trends and drive action to course correct
  • Professional - Must demonstrate the ability to represent our organization at the highest level
  • Communication - Must demonstrate a high degree of both written and oral communication and be comfortable in either virtual or in-person settings
  • Business Owner - We’re looking for someone who will treat this as their own business
  • Self-Motivated - Must be self-motivated to succeed and demonstrate complete ownership of your role
  • Commitment to improve - Desire to learn and improve their skillset every day
  • Relationship Builder - Eager to build long-term & meaningful relationships with colleagues, customers, and industry leaders

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to travel regularly up to 50% of the time
