Role Description
As our Manager of Key Accounts Manager - Strategic Partnerships, you will be the strategic force behind our most important client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Account Growth:
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to expand sales, profitability, and market share within our key accounts including National and Regional multi door accounts.
- Identify new opportunities and build long-term value.
- Apply strategic leadership behind independent accounts and work directly with the sales manager and account manager to strengthen and grow IBD partnerships.
- Focus: 50% WOW, 25% REI, 25% Open new National/Key Accounts.

Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and strengthen deep, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within partner organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact and a trusted advisor.

Performance Optimization:
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies.

Retail and Field Marketing:
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure premium and impactful point of sale presentation at key stores.
- Develop robust training programs for in-store team members.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams for seamless execution of strategies.

Outside Sales Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to drive sales performance through disciplined account management and effective in-store education.

Negotiation & Agreement:
- Lead complex negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that support woom's strategic objectives.

Order Management:
- Oversee and manage the order entry process for accounts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely fulfillment.

Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets for assigned accounts.

Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.

Strategic Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to internal stakeholders and key account partners.

Travel:
- Must be available to travel 20-30% of the time to key accounts for training initiatives and account management execution.

Success Metrics:
- Drive a minimum 20% improvement in sell-through across assigned key accounts.
- Increase average order value by 20% by expanding adoption of woom’s full ecosystem of products.
- Open and onboard 50 new key accounts in 2026.
- Successfully launch and execute the 2026 sales and merchandising program.
- Achieve 100% training completion across all assigned key accounts in 2026.
- Complete in-store visits to 100% of assigned key accounts in 2026.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management or a similar senior sales role.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- A performance-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics platforms.
- Experience within the cycling, outdoor, or juvenile products industry is a significant advantage.
