If so, then consider Loudoun County Government’s HR Training Coordinator position as the next step in your career.
The Loudoun County Department of Human Resources is seeking qualified applications for the position of Training Coordinator. This is a full-time temporary position and will be in place for approximately one year. The Training Coordinator will assist the Learning and Organizational Development Team in coordinating various in-person and virtual County-wide learning activities and initiatives. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Learning event registration
- Promotion of learning events
- Material generation
- On-site and online assistance for assigned learning events
- Supply coordination
- Ensuring that newly hired employees are assigned the required new hire online training
- Updating the Learning Management System and training calendars to reflect upcoming classes
- Delivering presentations to small groups
- Responding to inquiries from employees related to learning events
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of eLearning options, learning management systems, various training methods and techniques, and presentation skills. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be skilled in all Microsoft Office Suite products.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule in accordance with the County’s telework policy.
Hiring Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- Two (2) years of coordinating and implementing multiple training events in a business/work-related setting
- Local government experience preferred
- Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, APTD preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate, written and verbally, in a clear, concise manner
- Strong collaborator and critical thinker
- Ability to develop solutions and facilitate problem solving
- Ability to build strong relationships with HR team, County agencies, and external groups
Requirements
- Successful candidate will undergo criminal background and credit checks
- DMV check required
