The knowledge gained through this 9-week Human Resources Internship Program will help prepare the intern to effectively contribute to a fast-paced corporate HR team. The program will run June 8, 2026 through August 7, 2026. This is a remote opportunity, and we will consider applicants from across the United States.
Professional skills developed through the program
- Learn how to manage time, priorities, and project deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Develop professional communication skills by interacting with leaders, hiring managers, and team members across the organization
- Gain exposure to recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations processes
- Understand how HR partners with leadership to support business objectives and employee success
- Strengthen presentation skills by delivering an end-of-program presentation highlighting your internship project, key outcomes, and lessons learned
- Participate in weekly meetings with Affinitiv Executive Leadership for open Q&A, mentorship, professional coaching, and career advice
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and self-motivated Human Resources Intern to join our growing HR team. This role is ideal for a student interested in building a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations.
The HR Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the team in areas such as recruiting, candidate experience, onboarding, HR systems, employee engagement, and HR analytics. This is a unique opportunity to learn how HR supports a high-growth technology organization while collaborating with teams across the company.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, data-driven, and eager to learn, while contributing to initiatives that support our employees and company culture.
Responsibilities
- Support Talent Acquisition efforts, including scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and maintaining recruiting pipelines
- Assist with candidate sourcing and job posting management across recruiting platforms
- Help support new hire onboarding processes and documentation
- Maintain and update candidate and employee data in HR systems
- Support HR team initiatives related to employee engagement and internal communications
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and HR documentation
- Assist with coordination of HR projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student with GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
- Rising Junior or Senior preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- Strong interest in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition as a career path
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
