Role Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers succeed with industry-leading CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent and CFX. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering expert technical support to ANSYS users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshooting issues related to simulation workflows, solver behavior, modeling methods, and best practices.
- Mentoring customers to develop simulation models tailored to their engineering requirements.
- Guiding users on modeling strategies, tool usage, and CFD best practices.
- Facilitating training programs by teaching ANSYS CFD courses at client sites, online, and in SimuTech offices across the U.S. and Canada.
- Providing consulting services by collaborating with customers to understand analysis requirements and project expectations.
- Developing proposals including scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Executing full analysis workflows: meshing, boundary condition setup, solving, and post-processing.
- Recommending alternative design concepts based on engineering judgment.
- Preparing technical reports and other documentation that clearly communicate findings.
- Driving pre-sales success by partnering with account managers to determine customer software needs.
- Delivering technical presentations and software demonstrations.
- Answering technical questions throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 0–3 years of engineering experience using simulation for product development.
- Documented experience with enterprise CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent (preferred) and/or CFX.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Requirements
- Strong theoretical background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.
- Experience in at least one of the following: heat transfer, combustion, turbomachinery, multiphase flow, aerodynamics, or FSI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Personable, client-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SpaceClaim, Discovery, Design Modeler, etc.).
- Knowledge of meshing tools (Workbench Meshing, ICEM, Fluent Meshing/T-Grid, TurboGrid, Gridgen, Hypermesh).
- For Canadian candidates: Eligible and willing to pursue a Professional Engineering license within 4 years.

Pay Range
$83,000-$109,000 USD (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location).
