Role Description
As a member of this team, the TMC Application Engineer II would be expected to be a part of all technical pieces of the project, including hardware, software, and control schemes.
What will you do?
- Must be able to communicate with the client and make suggestions as the Turbomachinery Controls (TMC) expert.
- Startup Support is a big part of the job, as is the ability to give internal and external training.

Will work in multi-discipline teams in Turbomachinery, including but not limited to:
- Steam Turbines
- Gas Turbines
- Compressors (Surge and Performance Control)
- Generators (AVR and Protection)
- Diesel Engines
- Hydro Turbines

Projects stages include:
- Customer-Facing KO Meeting
- System Design Drawings
- Control Narratives
- Programming
- Factory Acceptance Testing
- Commissioning (on-site)
- TMC Sales and Proposal Support is required.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

3+ years or more of comprehensive Turbo-Machinery controls experience in at least 2 of the following:
- Steam Turbines
- Gas Turbines
- Hydro Turbines
- Compressors (Surge)
- Generators (AVR)
- Diesel Engines

Experience with any of the following is a major plus:
- Triconex Hardware
- TS1131 software
- Wonderware HMI
- Foxboro DCS (I/A)
- Modicon Hardware
- Modicon Unity Pro Software
- Any Function Based Programming Software
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Must be able to consult with clients in all areas of Turbomachinery.
